Asked before every integration.
When am I charged?
Per movement, at settlement. A payout that fails or is returned is never billed, and FX is charged only when a conversion actually executes.
How do volume step-downs work?
Rates step down automatically at $1M, $10M and $50M of monthly settled volume — no renegotiation, the invoice just gets cheaper.
Do you hold our funds?
Balances sit in safeguarded accounts at regulated partner banks, segregated from Ledger's own funds and reconciled daily against the core.
What happens when a payout fails?
The transfer reverses through the same double-entry transaction, your balance is restored at T+0, and the webhook carries the rail's return code.
Can we bring our own banking partners?
Enterprise plans can route through your existing bank accounts and IBANs — Ledger still runs the ledger and reconciliation layer on top.
